Assateague Island OSV / Off Road Day Trip

WHY WE LOVED OUR TOUR

"We were able to enjoy the beach and beauty of Assateague Island and access the OSV without having to do any planning. It was an escape from the crowds, city, and big hotels to a secluded and safe area. The experience of driving off road was great, not to mention having all beach supplies included! We were able to turn off our minds and felt truly refreshed and reenergized after the tour. We were looking for something different to do while on vacation and found it. It was a great day and incredible experience."

Itinerary:

Morning: Meet at Ocean City Park and Ride for departure. If you are staying in West Ocean City or Berlin, we provide pick up and drop off directly at your lodging, just let us know upon booking. If you would like to start extra early to see the sunrise, let us know!

Starting early is the best time to avoid the rush of people and see wildlife. Along the short drive to Assateague we will talk about the rich history of the park, its formation, ecosystem, and horse population. Upon entering the park, we will do our best to spot wildlife along the way, including the famous horses. Sika deer and other wildlife, including a vast array of birds can be seen as we travel through the park.

After arriving at the off road / over sand section of the park, we will drive down the beach and explore two paths (if accessible) to see the bayside and potentially other horse bands. We will then return to the beach, park on the shoreline where your guide will setup all beach supplies.

Relax and enjoy a special Assateague Island beach experience with family and friends. Swim, learn to surf, boogie board, make a campfire, roast marshmallows, enjoy a drink, play beach games, walk the beach, see wildlife, and much more!

FREE FAMILY PHOTO: During the trip, when the lighting is best, we can take a group picture of your family on the beach with a DSLR camera. This will be sent to you after the trip at no extra cost.

Mid-afternoon: We will pack up the gear and depart from Assateague Island OSV, with drop off back at your vehicle or lodging.
